Motorists driving on Interstate 405 in Los Angeles can expect some delays in the coming weeks. The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has recently announced nightly closures in the West Los Angeles/Inglewood area starting Monday, July 31, and ending Aug. 19.
According to a Caltrans news release, closures will go into effect only at night Monday through Friday. The closures are for the Crenshaw/LAZ Transit Project bridge over I-405. During the three weeks, different lanes will be closed each week.
